So this is as fundamental as it gets. Are you working in a way that leverages your Genius? Are you happy and passionate about what you are doing? Are you successful?

Taking this one step further down the Rabbit Hole of self discovery the question really is … Do you know what your genius is? In the domain of Sales, this is a critical question. Because to do well, you really have to show up and make an emotional connection with the people you are doing business with.
I do not believe there is a way around this. So, what this means is … you have to take a serious look at your level of alignment. Are you doing what you love to do? Are you using your Genius in what you do for a living?
Are you in alignment with your Genius? Are you firing on all cylinders? It is very difficult to expect this way of being from the people that report to you, if you are not there yourself. Like I said earlier, the profession of sales is one area where your truth will shine; like it or not. So get there and show the sales people who report to you; how it is done.
You owe it to yourself to live a life of passion and joy; truth and authenticity. This is what the market and your clients expect of you. They want to see you on your game, its refreshing and very re-assuring. Your clients want to see that passion in your eyes and the confidence in your voice. There is no way around it.
