Tip # 14 – Make powerful offers
February 28th, 2011 @ admin
Being able to make a powerful offer to your customers is the surest way for you to complete a highly valued transaction (one with good profit).
When times change so should you, so should your business offers. Solve business problems your customers need help with, do it well, do it with pride and charge them handsomely for it.
Do not get caught up in the negative drama that is being played out in the market place today. Be attentive, listen to your customers, pay attention to the conversations they are having and to the comments they are making. Ask them where they need help now.
Move quickly, be nimble, be flexible and respond. Respond to them and design powerful offers that make them partner with you when the going gets tough. Because they know you have listened to them.
Make powerful offers that address their needs. Make powerful offers that take care of them. Make powerful offers that help them in difficult times. Together you will see the dawn of better markets tomorrow.
One of my clients is a niche 3rd party logistics provider. They are very good at what they do, in essence they provide complete “Operations” services to small and mid sized companies that are selling a product. Providing assembly, kitting, fulfillment and distribution services.
Their offer to companies in todays market place is powerful. This is what they say to CFO’s and Directors of Operations and Supply Chain.
Dear Customer – Get rid of your overhead and please start conserving your cash. You do not need all that infrastructure and the resources in operations when you sales are dropping like they are. Come partner with us and pay for only what you need, when you need it and make sure that the fewer sales you are making, get fulfilled on time making your customers very happy.
