Tip # 15 – Sell something of Value … always

My 4 year old nephew taught me a valuable lesson the other day – we had gone down to Georgia to see my mother around Halloween a few weeks ago. I was being silly one day and very dramatically told him how much I loved my wife and his response … who cares!!

Powerful stuff – because this is exactly what our customers think about our latest and greatest coolest product or solution – until they see something valuable … to them.

People will always receive your offers, in their “already listening” of what is important to them. They can do no other; because their filters of comprehension are always tuned to taking care of their own concerns. Not yours.

As an effective revenue generator or business person – your job is sell something for a profit. The only way to do that is to sell something your customers can use to save or make more money. I believe this is true always.
