Tip # 17 – Move powerfully with teams

When was the last time you got to survive more than a week out in the wilderness without food, water, shelter or a team of good people to help you?

I know, that’s a bit of a wild scenario – but hear me out. The message I want to talk about is that there is not much we can do alone. We need help, a lot of it. My point is that, since we need a lot of help in any case, why not just “up the ante” a bit and make the help you get as powerful as possible. You will win 10 fold for that investment.

In tough markets, we do not have the luxury of learning things as we go. Everybody is on edge and wanting to maximize their investments of time and money. Emotions run high, dollars run low and problems run-a-muck. You need good help.

The kicker in all this is that – the better the help you want to attract, the better the resources or rewards you have to offer them. People do not work for free, and rightly so. Everybody has got to take care of their own concerns, and in doing so, the right people need to partner. Sharing their skill set and helping each other out. It is as simple as that.

So pay your teams well, reward them well and make sure you organize them well. Orchestrate the coming together of great people and look out; great things will happen.
