Tip #3 – Manage your mood

February 9th, 2011 @ admin

One’s mood creates the space in which YOU will perform in the market place. The good news is that you can control it. It’s about the only think in life we can ever control.

Where ever you go…. there you are. So take stock of your mental and emotional strength as it relates to your business and career. Harness your emotions and control your mood.

Here is the invitation – take a moment to assess how you might be able to improve on your mood, so that you are in a mood of adventure, wonder, joy, creativity and gregarious pro-activity.

Taking it further – be attentive to the noise in the market place. Most people and the media dramatize reality. Some do it for selfish reasons … as simple as wanting to capture your attention so you do not switch channels. Others are just not thinking and are allowing themselves to be caught up in the drama of what is gripping our society at the moment. Where are you in all this?

Times are tough, but life goes on. People still have to breath, eat, sleep, work, feed their families, live in homes and do what ever else they have to do. The nature of business has changed some, but life goes on – is your mood gripping you with fear? or are you angry and frustrated? Are you cautious and concerned? Better still are you looking for opportunities to take advantage of in this kind of a market place?

Winning starts with a powerful mental condition. Are you there yet?

If not … make changes now. Quit people in your life that are not thinking powerfully. Read about what powerful people are doing? Begin designing better programs and solutions that people will buy. Make changes that reduce cost and risk … change your mood – so you start winning now.

Be calm and attentive, so you may notice opportunities.
Be curious, so you may find opportunities.
Be attentive, so you may move powerfully.
Be kind, it will help drop costs and help you transact more.

I once heard someone say … Moods are everything!
